Self Defense: Practical self defense training — and also an awesome workout! This class will give you the self confidence you need to handle real life situations that may arise. Life skills that enhance your personal safety and raise awareness. As an added benefit, you will work hard and drop a couple pounds and in the process!
Fitness Kickboxing: This class will get your heart pumping, and is a total body workout! Controlled punching and kicking movements can do wonders for your cardio — and feelings of frustration and anger. Kickboxing moves will also help you improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. You can choose to only hit pads and bags or work with a partner. The choice is yours.
Our members are family and we all train hard together and push each other. Sweating, learning and having fun; that is a guarantee.
Adult Martial Arts: Traditional martial arts plus the most effective techniques for the streets. Stand up and ground technique to make you the most effective.
One Way to Fight PTSD
“When discharged from the Army, I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I struggled with fear at almost every moment. Mainly afraid I would be over powered all over again. As a result, I became anti-social, a hermit and the flashbacks were unbearable. After seeking medical treatment I gathered up the courage to start self defense training at United Self Defense Academy. I was welcomed with understanding and paced training. Working through my fears and learning how defend myself from real threats. I am so grateful to fight off the flashbacks and panic.
